Universal Role Players Ltd is a nationwide provider of professional medical role players, simulated patients and trained actors for medical training, assessment and healthcare simulation across the UK.
We work across a wide range of sectors, providing experienced role players for OSCEs, clinical examinations, pharmacy OSCEs, communication-skills teaching and other simulation-based learning. We also design and deliver bespoke advanced communication-skills workshops tailored to the needs of different organisations and professional groups.
As a company, we are passionate about bringing the benefits of role play and communication training into new areas and sectors where it may not have traditionally been used. We work collaboratively with organisations to develop realistic scenarios that reflect the challenges their teams face, helping professionals build confidence, improve communication and prepare for difficult or sensitive situations.
For doctors and other professionals who would like focused support, we offer one-to-one sessions in which participants can practise challenging conversations, develop their communication skills and receive constructive feedback in a safe and supportive environment.
We pride ourselves on working exclusively with trained actors who understand how to perform as role players and simulated patients professionally, consistently and authentically. Every actor we work with has experience within this field and is committed to creating realistic and meaningful simulation experiences.
